Asa Kurland
Music has been an indelible part of his life and it shows in his passion for performance and capacity for teaching. Having devoted countless hours to studying music theory and performance under numerous private tutors, college professors, and other artists - Asa has learned a wide range of instruments, playing techniques, styles, and genres.
Asa was born and raised in Baltimore, MD and has since made Philadelphia his home. He has toured across the country with his band, Slow Lights, where he is songwriter and band leader. His experiences have equipped him with valuable insight and a true passion for music.
Whether performing solo or with his ensemble, Asa’s music will be the perfect addition to the night. If you are interested in learning, he is a capable and empathetic teacher who is willing to go above and beyond to help his students become successful!
